Reminders

Today I am reminded how lucky I am to have good men in my life. Thankful that they are quietly themselves and know what it is to be a true man. I have so much love and respect for the both of them. I woke of thinking those words after our New Year's party last night. A friend of ours brought over her new man.

I found him lacking.

Lacking respect, self control, and confidence. He was rude to my guest, disrespectful to my friend, over compensating to impress and made attempts to be controlling as he drank himself silly.

Had I no concern for my friend's feelings I would have gladly broke him that night. But he is her choice and her's to accept. I only hope that she makes a different choice soon.
