I found this horiscope a couple of weeks ago. I loved what it said. While I do not pretend to have that kind of power, the thought that my world can be wide open and I can make it what I wish, is very exciting.
"Most modern religions propose that we need intermediaries - priests, priestesses, rabbis, imams, monks - to get connected to the divine source. In contrast, many ancient Gnostics believed that every person could be in charge of creating his or her own link to spirit. Indeed, anyone might contribute fresh insights and revelations to the body of ever-evolving spiritual truths. The equivalent today would be if the Bible were regarded as an unfinished text to which every Christian or Jew could add new content. This is a perfect astrological moment for you to try out this perspective, Scorpio: the do-it-yourself approach to creating your own religion...."

Ah... but the truth is the very last words in the bible say basically that nothing is to be added or taken away from these words. Pretty much sums that up doesn't it.
Last words are as such....
"I testify to every man who hears =the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man shall add to these things, God shall add to him the plagues that are written in this book; And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his portion from the tree of life and from the holy city and from the things which are written in this book. He who testifies these things says, Surely I am coming soon. Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all, all you holy ones. Amen.
And yet, when you believe that the book is fictional, it ceases to have the same meaning.
