I Haven't Been the Same Since the House Fell On My Sister

It's official. I went to the wizard and he says I have a heart. Who knew?

I am still having medical issues, and have had a recent round of tests. Hubby and Oso have been great. Both have been spoiling me. Oso got his first experience at an OB/GYN and enjoyed watching the nurse take my temperature. Hubby has insisted that I take his kidney, but refuses to take any of my blood tests. The dirty bastard. Really, I'm not that sick. I don't need a kidney, at least not yet. My temperature is normal, however I will never again be able to keep a straight face while getting it taken. All the fuss is most likely due to a reaction to some medication. I stopped taking it. I'm fine.

I am deliberately vague as I've not told many people including my family. There have been too many disappointments in our past. We've become comfortable with not talking about important things. I suppose, sometimes, that's the way it goes.

On to other news.

Spa day with the girls was fun. We took pictures with the symbolic strippers' pole. I got kissed. It was nice. I wasn't really into her or her into me....it was mostly for the camera. But it did remind me of something I've been missing for a while. Does anyone want to hit the lezzy bars with me?

Hubby and I took off for a day trip. It was nice to get out of town. We went to one of our favorite places. Ate at our favorite restaurant. Stopped at our favorite shops. Shared a few dreams. Made a few plans.

Today I went sailboat hunting with Oso. I call it hunting because we hit all the back roads and searched through the trees and wheat. Leave it to Oso to find a sailboat in a wheat field. I hope he gets what he wants. And I hope he gets it soon.
