For a while now I've not felt like myself. You might call it mild depression. Everyone goes through shifts and changes, I know it's normal. However, I still don't like to be 'off my game'.
Controlling of me? Of course it is. What else would you expect? (Insert comment/burn from Oso here. You know you want to honey.)
The key to control is to realize what is within your power and what is not. For example, it was within my power to send my kids to their grandparents for spring break. It was not in my power to stop them from getting chicken pox and ruining my planned vacation without them. Such is life. You have to allow for the random acts of Nature. The Bitch.
We've been dealing with a lot of difficulties as of late. I've recovered and the kids are almost recovered. It's time to focus attention elsewhere. Working out. Writing. Parties. Home improvements. Hot and steamy monkey sex. (Without the monkeys of course.)
I look forward to getting life back to normal, as normal as life will allow. I will continue to make my mark where I can and let the rest fly as it wishes. It will anyway, so why fight it?
